The ECT has promoted 15 CDs since its inception in 2001. The Music for Piano series under the Dunelm and Divine Art labels with pianist extra-extraordinaire, Murray McLachlan, ended with CD No 7 in 2011. It includes the Elegies, "a concentrated and cohesive group of pieces which no-one...will want to be without". (Michael Graubart, Music and Vision). Two orchestral items under the Dutton Epoch label and the 2-piano Forsaken Mermaid ballet CD under the ECT own label have all been well reviewed. The major event in 2012, Chisholm’s Piano Concertos 1 and 2 on Hyperion CDA67880 made Gramophone top 20 in its first week and has been a hit with great reviews and has had two broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and a live performance in Glasgow City Halls in March 2013.
